2011

Setting sail

Josh and Claire Richardson establish Superyacht Tenders and Toys (SYTT) in 2011. They secure their first sale within two weeks, delivering a custom Goldfish 29 tender for M/Y Ecstasea. This rapid success is followed by numerous toy outfitting sales, setting a solid foundation for the company.

2013: Building the team

Josh and Claire recruit Ally Ford as the company's Administrator, marking the beginning of Champagne Fridays.

The trio establish a sound base for a busy 2014.

Everything from jet skis, SEABOBs, watersports gear, and life jackets, to inflatables, cradles and custom Dariel and Ribeye tenders — SYTT start building a solid order book.

Rugby fan and braai aficionado, Ally brings structure and strategic coordination to the SYTT office.

    2014: Vision into reality

    Josh's concept of a dedicated superyacht tender and toys consultancy gains significant traction, demanding a move to larger premises.

    SYTT open their Nautique account, supplying a modified Coastal Edition to VAVA II.

    2015: Crystal-clear ambition

    SYTT start working with M/Y Ulysses, Halo, and Attitude.

    In addition, SYTT delivers custom limousines to M/Y Global and M/Y Lady Marina and supplies toys to luxury cruise ship Crystal Esprit.

    2016: Growth and innovation

    Watersports and forklift fanatic, Mark Peak, joins the company as a Yacht Toy Specialist. Expanding its client list, SYTT collaborates with prestigious yachts such as Cloudbreak, Topaz, and Faith.

    By 2016, SYTT delivers their seventeenth Ribeye tender.

    The fully inflatable landing craft from SYTT revolutionises tender options for yachts involved in watersports and beach activities.

      2017: Queen's Award

      SYTT manages two custom tenders for the 110m M/Y Anna, Feadship's largest build. Collaborating with Patrick Banfield and Michael Leach Design, SYTT deliver a 10m custom limo and a 10m custom open.

      SYTT also sells and project-manages the first-ever Compass Tenders 12m catamaran.

      Honoured with The Queen's Award for International Trade, SYTT's consistent growth solidifies its industry standing.

          2018: Shipyard Supply

          The launch of Shipyard Supply Co (SSCo) further diversifies SYTT's offerings, focusing on premium deck equipment.

          SYTT partners with U-Boat Worx to project-manage their first-ever Cruise Sub 7, crafted in titanium with a dual sphere and capable of reaching 1140 meters.

          Recognised as the Best Marine Company to Work For by British Marine, SYTT's sphere of influence continues to grow.

          "Olympic" swimmer, Phil Gallagher, joins the SYTT team in Operations.

            2019: Market leadership

            SYTT celebrates ranking 95th in the Sunday Times Fast Track 100 and proudly collects the British Marine Trades Association Business of the Year Award.

            Away from the red carpet, SYTT becomes a full-service dealer for Nautique Wake Boats.

            Recognised as the premier specialist for sales on superyachts, SYTT launch their dedicated Superyacht Nautique division.

            2020: Raising the bar

            SYTT launches Superyacht Inflatables, setting a new industry standard for high-end, environmentally-conscious inflatable products.

            This division employs advanced materials and European production.

            Med expansion

            SYTT Monaco is established enhancing sales and storage capabilities in the Mediterranean. Headed up by Roxane Ducruet, the expansion provides clients with improved purchasing options and a new operational base.

              In the same year, engineering enthusiast, Richard Clements, joins the SSCo team as Technical Manager.
                Our collaboration with SYTT started in 2021 when Josh Richardson contacted us. It has been marked since by professionalism, mutual respect, and a shared passion for excellence. To date, we have delivered three Eagle sailing yachts.

                2022: Ready to ROAM

                SYTT introduces ROAM Boats, a brand of adventure-ready tenders designed for the superyacht market. Providing an ultra-versatile platform, SYTT secure ROAM orders for delivery in 2024.

                Superyacht Composites (SYC) is set up to serve as SSCo's manufacturing division.

                In turn SSCo brings almost all deck equipment manufacture in-house.

                2023: Charting new courses

                ROAM builds for highly anticipated new builds including Sanlorenzo's KD.

                SYTT continues full tender and toy outfitting for yachts like Infinite Jest and Ultra G.

                SSCo innovates with the world's first self-supporting padel court for a yacht helideck and launches new fendering solutions and carbon whips.

                A unified identity

                The SYTT Group is introduced, representing the collective brands under a unified identity. With a team of thirty staff, SYTT continues to build and innovate from its bases in the UK and Monaco.
